We are seeking to recruit a BS/MS level Associate Scientist I with 2-5 years of experience in molecular biology and/or cell culture. The successful candidate will possess excellent lab skills and hands-on experience in bio-analytical tools. This position will involve research and collaboration with teams that interface between molecular biology and immunoassays. An ideal start date for this position is May 2024. Job Responsibilities
- Supporting research and manufacturing by developing processes to generate recombinant antibodies for assays.
- Analyzing experimental data and keeping detailed QC records of bioassay materials including solid supports, nucleic acids, and proteins.
- Supporting development of novel immunoassays.
- Troubleshooting experiments proactively in dialogue with the supervisor.
- Performing experiments according to established SOPs with minimal supervision.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues through oral and written reports.
- Multi-tasking effectively and completing assigned projects on time.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field.
- Minimum 2 – 5 years of experience in molecular biology, cell culture, assay development, or immunoassays.
- Experience working with DNA, proteins, and antibodies a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Motivated, enthusiastic, proactive, detail-oriented, and organized individual.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
