Immunological Assays Development Scientist on our R&D Team. Highly motivated candidates with a

This successful candidate will develop immunological assays that contribute to our therapeutic antibody
discovery projects. They will possess knowledge of immunology along with excellent lab skills and
hands-on experience in immunoassays. This position will involve research and collaboration with teams
to progress therapeutic antibody discoveries and pre-clinical testing.
- Design, execute, improve, and interpret in vivo/in vitro experiments in the cellular immunology
field using mouse, rabbit or human primary cells and cell lines.
- Design, execute immunoassays including but are not limited to cellular signaling, affinity and
competition assays, cellular proliferation, cytokine measurements, receptor binding, cellular
toxicity tests (ADCC, ADCP, CDC), macrophage assays etc.
- Provide immunology and cell biology expertise to support Abbratech’s therapeutic antibody
discovery and pre-clinical experiments.
- Work closely with CROs to enable all aspects of the antibody discovery, validation,
characterization and in vivo/in vitro testing.
- Support and contribute scientific publications (patents, posters, manuscripts, grants) for external
communication in addition to supporting documents associated with regulatory submissions.
- Train and monitor fellow researchers.
- Interpret, clearly document, and communicate to manager, cross-functional teams and across
- PhD degree in immunology or cell biology (0-2 years), master’s degree with (2-4 years) or
bachelor’s degree (4+ years) of related industry experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with developing and performing immunological assays, cell-based
assays, primary cancer cell culture, T cells/B cell culture, in vitro or in vivo models to evaluate
immune responses against therapeutic molecules, etc.
- Strong skills in basic biochemical and immunological methods such as multi-color flow
cytometry (FACS), ELISA/multiplex assays, western blotting, cell cytotoxicity/cell killing assays
- Knowledge of immune oncology with an emphasis on immune checkpoint inhibitor
pharmaceutics as well as pharmaceutical drug discovery industry experience is preferred.
